Bardo Pond / Peri

Grateful Dead / Reckoning

Phish / Story of the ghost

REM / Document

Bob Dylan / Bootleg
I've been very impressed with most all of Bob's albums since Time out of mind, the exceptions being his latest and the Christmas album. Modern times is awesome.
David Bowie / The man who sold the world, Space oddity, Hunky dory, Aladin sane. Its a shame he's gone.
I was at the record store today as well & bought a few used ones. Starting out with Mick Fleetwood / The visitor. I had Elvis Costello's "Trust" in my hand but the overall cost was getting to high so I put it back. Next time...
Tom Waits / Mule Variations
jbnimble, Agreed, it has been one of my favorites for years. I also really enjoy their first 2 albums. There was great chemistry in that band when eno was involved.
bdp24,
I bought the "love and theft" album on vinyl (Columbia) years ago.It is a nice recording.
Genesis / Lamb Lies Down On Broodway
IMO this is one of the best rock albums ever pressed. I first heard it in my early teens & have loved it since.

Slaw,
The Fahey album you listened to last night is one of my favorites from him. "Pure Pleasure" released another from him that is also awesome. It's called "The yellow princess". Jay Ferguson from the band "Spirit" joins him on one of the songs.
Slaw,
You're Welcome. Yes Randy California was in the band Spirit. Not sure if he was the leader or not...

mapman,
I will check that out. Although Genesis had it's moments after Peter left the band (Trick of the tail comes to mind), I wasn't much of a fan of their music anymore. I did see them live during their Duke tour & they were really good live though.  / Thanks

Right now I'm listening to Bowie's last album (star) & really enjoying it. It's pretty obvious he knew the end was near by the lyrics. Bummer.
Slaw,
I did not know Randy was Jimi's mentor, very interesting. Let us know how the sound quality is on the Yes album. Is it a new pressing?

Listening to "Songs OHIA" Axxess & Ace. Jason Molina was another great relatively unknown musician.

Thanks Slaw / The Yes album is on my list. Enjoy the concert!

Low / The Great Destroyer
Beautiful distortion on this one!

Lambchop / FLOTUS
Hey Slaw,
FLOTUS is the title of the Lambchop album. It is there latest. Just back from the record store. Bought six new ones... 2 Lows, 2 Lanagans, 1 Leftover Salmon, & 1 Psychoanalysis.
Grateful Dead / Veneta Oregon 1972
Awesome "Dark Star" that goes over 31 minutes
Reubent,
Adrian is very talented. I was introduced to his music in the early 80's through King Crimson and have been listening ever since. Saw him with King Crimson (at a small venue in Chicago) one time. That was a phenomenal show. My favorite (on vinyl) from him is "Desire Caught by the Tail"

Thurston Moore / Rock n Roll Consciousness

Mark Lanegan / Blues Funeral

Slaw, Josephine... What an awesome album that is!
Cubist Blues / Alan Vega, Alex Chilton, Ben Vaughn
Great LP if you're looking for something different. Hard to put a label on this one.
+1 on The Great Deceiver from KC. I also love the drums on "Easy Money" by them. In fact I just may listen to that later tonight

Listening to Acid Mothers Temple / In Search of the Lost Divine Arc
