Aerosmith- Rocks. What a great album...
I'm with you. Perennial favorite. Used to play drums to it from beginning to end.
The writing in "Inglorious Basterds" is stunning. The scene at the french farmhouse, and the apple strudel scene are enough to recommend the film.
I agree with Slipknot regarding "Ragpicker's Dream". Another terrific Knopfler recording, which I learned about on Audiogon, is his collaboration with Chet Atkins titled "Neck and Neck". Two guys who clearly have utmost respect for one another, and have a hell of a time playing together on this disk. Unfortunately, I'm not able to say whether it's available on vinyl.

Sorry for hijacking the vinyl thread...I have to go change a CD...

Neil Young "Prairie Wind"
Beatles "Abbey Road" Side Two
Cannonball Adderly/Miles Davis "Somethin' Else"
Genesis - "Wind and Wuthering"
Doobie Brothers - "The Captain and Me"
Brian Ferry - "Bete Noire"
Elton John - "Tumbleweed Connection"
