Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Before dinner, Rodrigo e Gabriella  CD  Incredible interpretation of "Stairway to Heaven"

This evening Mike Garson's Serendipity on LP.

Variety IS the spice of life!

Jacques Lousier trio - Theme and variations on the allegretto from Beethoven’s 7th symphony. 51 minutes of awesome jazz based on one movement from one symphony. Brilliant! Very "dry" recording.  PUNCHY kick drum.

JLT- Plays Debussy - a bit more air to the acoustic

Clark Terry - One on One SACD   Great jazz trumpet with different piano accompanists

Just received my remastered CD of Strawbs - Hero and Heroine, a classic 1973 art rock release. Fantastic!! remastering job.

@nutty  Heaven Tonight is a great album by a much underappreciated hard rock in' band.

Sierra Hull "Daybreak"   About as wholistic a bluegrass album as there is.  Very well-balanced recording.

In an eclectic mood this evening.  Listening to Linn records Super Audio Collection SACD Volume 8.

@nutty  Saw them live at the Spectrum in Philly right after They Only Come Out at Night was released.  EPIC version of Frankenstein!!
