Who is Most Beautiful female singer ever

I say Jewel and Debbie Harry.

In his prime Johnny Mathis was better looking than most of the women mentioned here. He's also a better singer than most.
I think we should start a movement to vote for Alizee as a write-in candidate for President.
There's one more I forgot about. She's a French pop singer that goes by the name Alizee I believe. I saw her on tv while I was in Rome a couple of weeks ago. Shes probably in her mid to late 20's and shes painfully beautiful (hot). I thought she was Italian at first because she was singing Madonna in English and I was in Italy. Shes very pretty and very sexy. Look her up on You Tube and be prepared to cry yourself to sleep if you like brunettes.

If the op asked who the most beautiful woman on the planet is, I would say without hesitation it is my wife followed by Penelope Cruz.
Some of you might not like the "headbanging" nature of this band, but I recently posted on the band Halestorm. Band is very good, and Lzzy Hale, the gal of the group is gorgeous, and, what a talent. If you have not checked it out, I am sorry for you. Mofi was kind enough to add the link to their new hit song "Love Bites".
Come to think of it, Stevie Nicks was a nice lookin girl too. It's a shame what Hollywood can do to ya.
Katherines Jenkins or McPhee are both quite lovely.

No Beyonce (standard answer these days) or J'lo fans out there?
IMO a good case could be made for Connie Francis, when she was in her prime.

Honorable mention to the late opera singer Anna Moffo.

I agree with Donjr on Melody Gardot and Csontos on Rory Block in her younger days. Something sexy about Rory, beyond her physical features alone.

What about Taylor Swift? I know, she's younger than my own kid but what a beautiful girl.

Tpreaves, Yoko Ono? I have a LensCrafters coupon I can mail you :^).
I actually think Melody Gardot is quite a beautiful young woman. There's also been times when I've thought Diana Krall looked like she could use some of my attention.
She has had a lot of different looks but Kate Bush has as strikingly beautiful face and body to ever to grace a stage or album cover. Take a look again if it has been a while. "The Kick Inside" or "Lionheart"
Kathy Lee? i think she has a last name but I cant remember what it is.Whenever you buy one of her cds some percentage of profits are put to agencies who raise awareness of the abusive employment practices of sweatshops produced by american companies in not so distant foriegn countries. The exploitation of the poor, essentially. She is all about the people, and I think that is beautiful.
ANOTHER VOTE FOR THE CORRS lol. As for Liz Phair, talented songwriter, yes, talented guitarist, I think not. Pretty typical of that genre music which i've been listening to for about 15 years. I don't know what albums the poster about Liz Phair was referring to, but I'm pretty sure most people only know her most recent matrix-produced album (i.e. she barely played anything on it).
wow. Very old, but very good thread. What female performer would I ever like to have seen? Piaf and Janis is up there right with her.

I wish I could have seen Billy Holiday in some cigar-smoke filled club.

Lena Horne...yes. Stevie whats-her-face from Fleetwood Mac:forget it. (Liza Minelli on steroids with a terrible producer...)

Aretha?...certainly! Garland...okay.

Can I get Melanie for a private concert?
I would say...Beyonce Knowles is one of the most beautiful female singer to come along in the last couple of years...
With one of the best voices ever, classical diva Janet Baker was nothing to write home about, actually very average looking at best...
I just thought I would mention Cleo Lane,Crystal Gayle, Kate Bush ,and for raw animal magnetism Tina Turner. Some other real beauties are mentioned above. How the hell can you pick just one, how about most beautiful 50? Do have fun with your fantasy!! ;^)
I'm not familiar with her music but I remember seeing videos of her running around w/ boxing gloves. I'll have to second Vanessa Williams. She was, after all, Ms. America until dethroned.
Etched in my otherwise foggy memory of the '70s is the image of Maria Muldaur singing "Don't You Feel My Leg".
