Tht person may have aquired the tweaks cheaply. Who knows?
They may have had a very expensive system, but lost it in a divorce or whatever, a downsizing would sell the main components, and leave a pile of once expensiv bits. the wife can know a $20,00 amp is worth money, the wire probably not.
Anyway, whatever floats the boat is fine by me.
It does seem to be 'wrong' and I would not advise anyone to do it that way, but what's done is done.
Not my problem. And not my judgement call either.
I have an average 10% of my system in wires etc. and an additional 5% in powerline conditioners. so i am just average. But that does not let me say any other choice is wrong.
