New level of ridiculousness

$8,995 for a power strip???
Stick 8 off the shelf receptacles in a marble??? box, and there it is.
It is getting more and more ridiculous. As if manufacturers are now driven by a desire to extract as much $$$ from aaudiophiles with sufficient income, and not by a desire to advance the quality of their products.
I wonder...

I agree with you, just don't blame the snake oil pushers. They would not make it, if no one bought it. And besides, there is no FUNDAMENTAL difference between paying $8000 for a power strip and paying say.... $500 for one. I bet someone will accuse you of not having audiophile grade ears! hahahahahahhaah

On a second thought, it's not all that expensive- just about $1000 per outlet. But imagine level of improvement compared to the price of your whole system. And don't forget an enjoyment one will obtain after installing this power strip in the system- that's just priceless

It's nice to see that gilding the lily is still in vogue for those who see the silk in the sows ear.

The 1% have to have something to show for all their toils pushing all that funny money around.
