Int. Amp Recommendation

Thanks for the recommendations so far, but I'm looking and something with at least 100 wpc, those big JBL's need power.

Any word on my list above ?

I´m shortening the list to the Musical Fidelity's and the Krell, comments please.

I have owned the Krell and the Musical Fidelity X-A1 and A100. Neither the MF (love that abbreviation) or the Krell is better. The MF will be softer and smoother, the Krell faster and harder. My sense is that the contrast is so large that one or the other will fit your listening biases better. If you get really short on money, the Acurus DIA-100 is a surprising performer that hews more to the Krell sound, though not as good. They are getting a bit long in the tooth at this point, but remain good values, no remote though.

I know you are asking for SS recommendatiosn BUT..consider this. Get a Cayin TA-30 tube integrated, beautifull sound, great looks, and very reliable PLUS an inexpensive cd player, such as a Shanling CDS-100 MkII that has a variable output with remote. This way you will have amazing sound with remote operation....try it ! Good luck.
