A new GTX-D (Rhodium) outlet requires at least 500 hours of burn in time in order for it to come into its own sound. What you described you heard after 50 hours is par for the course. After 500 hours you may or may not like what you hear, but 50 hours of burn in is nothing for that outlet.
Just an FYI, and I agree 500 hours is a long wait time.

The Maestro is what you want. Search on here for more info and get it here. It will give you the clarity you want without mucking up your sound or take forever to settle in.

At 230V it will take for ever to burn in the Furutech GTX-D (R) receptacle connected to your audio system.

You will have the same sound quality problems with the Oyaide R1 as you are experiencing with GTX-D (R) receptacle. The R1 will also need 100s of hours of burn in time connected to your audio system.

Here is another Agon thread for you to read. Note again the hours, 400 to 700, needed to burn in the GTX-D (R) receptacle. And that is with a descent connected load..... Not just a few amps.

To be fair to the Furutech GTX-D (R) receptacle you may want to check around and see if you can send the receptacle to someone and have them burn in the receptacle for you.

Both the Maestro and the Avatar Afterburner 8 utilize un plated metal receptacles. Some feel that as a result they both are more natural sounding than those that employ a layer of plating. I'm certain results vary depending on system/components (as does everything else in audio). It has been reported many times that the Furutech GTX D needs "hundreds" of hours to fully burn in. So your assessment of the GTX is probably premature. I'm intrigued by the Avatar Afterburner 8 and will try one in my system (wall outlet to my BPT3.5 Signature Plus balanced power conditioner).
