I just got back in to vinyl after 17 years. Now I got another good excuse not to buy any more CD.
Perhaps we should organize a protest and burn (or otherwise destroy) some BMG cd's in front of the Grammy's or the CMA's, etc. We would make it clear that we are in solidarity with the artists against the big record labels. A little PR goes a long way.
Kinsekd - If you want someone to join you burning BMG CDs at say the Grammys or CMA Awards Show - let me know. I'm totally fed up with these greedy pigs from the record companies and the movie studios.
For better or worse, there will not be much must-buy new music to complicate the issue. Love them used records!
