$23,000 - $24,000 I estimate. (Two channel, this does not include TV, VCR, etc.)
Please, keep the exagerations to a minumum, do not count CD's, equipment you have bought and sold, is packed away that you don't use anymore, etc..

Wow, alot of money spent around here I am a bottom feeder also. I buy used equipment. Although I do have two systems, one HT and one in my bedroom that I use for headphone listening I have the following HT system: Acurus-3 Processor - 350.00 Adcom GFA 6000 - 325.00 Panasonic DVD - 100.00 Infinity Speakers - 800.00 Powervar - 50.00 Cableing - 100.00 -------- 1725.00 2 channel: Rotel RA-01 245.00 Cambridge audio CD 145.00 Cambridge Audio tuner 145.00 Paradigm Atoms 140.00 Cabeling 35.00 Sennheiser 555 HP 150.00 -------- 860.00 Wow it all adds up. Even Poor people like myself end up with a few dollars wrapped in audio equipment. |
Last time I posted, I wrote my system was worth 125 Boardwalk hotels retail (and I had "paid" 40-50 hotels). I off by a factor of five - I had forgotten my Monopoly® rules. It was more like 25 hotels (assuming it costs 5 houses to buy a hotel), and I had paid 8-10. Three years later I look at this thread and I am up to about 90 hotels (retail) and a bit over 30 hotels actually paid. Sheesh. What am I thinking?! |
