Perhaps the Meguiars could be washed off after use.
Getting a higher block error rate on scratched CDs, is probably worse than theoretical errors somewhere down the road?
The Meguiars is of course by design a product with a ultra mild abrasive.. thats why one would use it!!
Though thanks for the heads up on the base stock, and I think washing the CD with a dishwashing liquid after cleaning and polishing would be a good idea.
I won't give up a great product that works at a low price.
