It should do just fine...as tubes and Klipsch are a good match.

2a3 set dht made by a friend about 8-10wpc

might want to look at the prices of the 2a3 tubes....not cheap.

For what it's worth 45 SET mono amps seem to drive Klipsch Cornwall IIs very well.

Depends on one's idea of cheap, I suppose, and the necessity of NOS tubes.

I own a pair of 2A3 push-pull monoblocks. Sovtek 2A3 tubes, which sound excellent in these amps, cost about $80/pair.

To me, that's pretty reasonable.
