Any one out there have any experience with tube buffers. I've been looking at ifi and Yaqin and would install between pre-out and amp-in on my solid state integrate.
Mechans, You aren't alone in your opinion. I've found more of what tubes provide dependent on the amplifier compared to the preamp. If I had "suitable" speakers I'd choose SS pre/tube amp over tube pre/SS amp. I realize this goes against popular wisdom(but that's how I hear it). YMMV naturally.
