Speaker cable suggestions

Infection... Purist Audio Design or MIT have no harshness and do not roll-off the highs to achieve this. MIT sounds neutral to me and Purist is slighly warm. Both sound very natural and organic, IMHO.

Look up the the Cable Company.com to use their lending library where you can sample many different brands.

A good power cable to try to alleviate harshness is the affordable Pangea sold by Audio Advisor.

Try all of the above in your system. I had a ear opening experience with Clear Day speaker cables.
Only when you try the cables in your system, will you be able to decide which one to keep.

What PAD? I tried them in my system and got mixed results. They weren't harsh, but they did have that grainy/roughness in the highs you sometimes get from copper. I wanted to like them, but if the highs are not just right, for me thats a deal breaker.

Funny...I just got that.
BTW, the upper tiers of PAD use copper w/ a silver coating, some use gold. Anyway, it's about synergy.
