My wife and I don't get the In-N-Out phenomenon at all. It's a 5 minute walk from our house to an In-N-Out, and we prefer to drive 5 miles to Fatburger.

I agree completely, I&O doesn't approach Fat Burger's taste etc., closer to McDonald's quality/taste.

FWIW, for me, there's nothing fancy about my favorite Fatburger. Large with cheese and grilled onions. That's it.
