I think you ought to visit Stereo Exchange in NYC - perhaps the last store on earth you can "just walk into" without an appointment.  Besides,  it's in a cool part of town, too.

I stopped in when I was in AZ earlier this year. I wanted to see many of the brands they have n their website. 90% Ayon, 5% esoteric, 5% whatever speaker line they carried. If i were at manufacturer, id be pissed if a dealer that was in my network didnt have storefront product to show
