Pre-amp better than Sonic Frontiers

A lot is going to depend on your budget. I had a line 1 awhile back and in taking to Kean Deal at Upscale Audio, he had suggested some NOS Ediswan tubes for that preamp and they really did make a nice improve in sound. However, I upgraded to an ARC LS5 MKIII and it was head and shoulders above the Line 1. I have since moved on from that but it was a very good next step. I am sure that other members here moved on from the Line 1 and they will chime in with their not step up.

In my view, the Line One does NOT have a good remote control system.

I thought this was clear but I am interested in a different two channel pre-amp with better sound quality than a Sonic Frontiers Line One.  I do not want to upgrade it.

GAMUT D3i better than a few i had tried including the best rated ones. I had tried with Gamut amplification plus a other amps.
rare on the used market for a reason.
