1979: Boston Acoustics (A40? - small); probably $200

1980: ADS 300s; probably ~$300

1981: Infinity something-or-others (RS3s? - large bookshelves); don't remember $

1982: DCM Time Windows; must have been around $450 used

1983: Quad ESL-63; seems to have been ~$1500??

(unfortunately they lasted only for ~7 months, had 2 kids and no job, no money, so all the equipment went - fortunately I saved the LPs)*

-big financial gap-

1990: Sony large, 3-way, muddy, overly bright something-or-others; under $600 including electronics!

-big financial gap-

1998: ProAc Tablette 50s / CC1 / Triad Silver surrounds / Velodyne HGS-10; about $3000

2002: MartinLogan Odyssey / Cinema / Scenario / Descent; about $11K

Judging by my early annual upgrade habit unrestrained by potential spousal disapproval, I could be in trouble now that I can afford the hobby again, although I guess I hadn't realized that I've had the ProAcs for four years now.
