Circuits vary the pitch through intermodulation distortion through summing the fundamental with harmonics. That has nothing to do with the speed of electromagnetic waves passing through circuits at damn near the speed of light. It’s the compound artifact of gain devices operating in a nonlinear fashion.
I’m just not seeing how transistors selectively manipulate the spacetime continuum for narrow segments of EM. I don’t see how Doppler effect plays any part here because there’s nothing moving. I’m not trying to be a weenie, but Roger, I’m pretty sure what atmasphere is asking is "what metric are you measuring for what physical phenomenon?". A long time ago somebody discovered harmonic distortion and clearly defined it. Then somebody discovered IM distortion and clearly defined it. I think it’s sounding to a lot of us like you’re claiming to have discovered a new kind of distortion. But because you haven’t actually named it or clearly defined it’s nature through mathematical expression, some are reasonably skeptical. I think what people want to hear is "I’ve dscovered _________ distortion. _________ distortion behaves like __________ and this formula __________ expresses it’s nature. To correct it, I’ve invented a circuit that does ______ and this formula _________ expresses it’s function."
