AMPLIFIER BLOCKS

Im thinking about adding an amplifier block under my Krell FPB 600. Right now it sits on top of my hardwood floor. Does anyone recommend them and what kind , where to find them.

stringreen, would'nt the weight of a heavy amplifier smash those little tomato paste cans and make a mess!
My amplifier sits on a concrete patio square I bought for $3 at a big chain building supply store.
The concrete block is up on some old Tiptoes I owned (I could have used anything, even some strips of wood to lift the slab off the rug).. And the amp is up on #10 butyl rubber bottle stoppers on top of the slab.
Total cost pretty small.
I am a cheapskate.

Mainly I want the amp off the floor so no bugs climb in..
It is hidden behind a chair anyway, so I have no aesthetic reasons for a stand.
HRS if you want a math and science based approach
they are built into the monoblocks I am using but the platforms work well
also the maple is very cost effective, i made two for my vintage tube anps with Vandersteen speaker spikes (3) on each and they did wonders for my vintage biamped setup, especially with the tube amp
amplifier as bug hotel.....yikes

but hey a true class A bug zapper Elizabeth,,,,
