Cables have properties Inductance L, Resistance R and Capacitance C.
Ditto loudspeaker, connectors, electronics in and out.
LRC are used to create filters aka Tone Controls.
Filters cause amplitude and phase changes.
Cascading LRC creates a very complex filter.
