From what I remember, Goodmans made speakers for various companies back in the 70's. We had a "house brand" speaker which was made by Goodmans in the 70's when I was selling audio. They actually weren't bad sounding speakers, but not in Wharfdales league which we also sold.

I got a pair off the street and they sound fine.
I know absolutely nothing about this name except they were UK and in competition with Wharfedales. In the early 80's the company split in two and the quality went downhill fast.
So, I'm hoping these are pre 1980 and decent in someone's opinion.
