Corelli - really????

Hi,
I read the 6 moons review on this but I still have a hard time believing this can improve a system.  Anyone have any experience with these?

It sounds like they would do a similar job to the high fidelity mc-05 units?

That’s what I’d like to know. I’ve been plugging in mc-0.5’s to my system as money permits and what it’s done for my two channel listening as well as the picture quality for my tv are pretty amazing and sound similar to what people here have described the corelli doing. But I’ve probably spent more than $2k on the mc-0.5’s to get where I’m at but it sounds like ozzy might be able to give some comparison if he does indeed get the corelli.

-I'm sorry, I just noticed you were probably referring to the ac triple enhancer but I'm still interested in ozzy's opinion when the time comes on the corelli vs mc-0.5
Maybe. I think the MC-05 uses magnets and the Akiko products use crystals. I’m not sure anyone has actually compared the two in their systems and wrote about it. If so, I’ve missed it. I think the Akiko stuff is trying to clean-up EMI/RF. The AC Enhancer works only on the ground and the Corelli I understand works on the hot, neutral and ground so that’s why it’s active. The MC-05 uses magnets to manipulate the electrons in the electrical current. So, two different concepts. They may actually work well together....
Hopefully I will get the Corelli Friday. So with my 20 MC-0.5' we shall if compatibility exists.

Well I received the Corelli with its power cord and have now tried it in my  digital dedicated line and also the analog line.

First, I must mention the noise suppression items that I have already in place because I think its significant.

I am using a Bybee AC Module Crystal, (10) HF MC-0.5's on each dedicated line. In addition to that I also have the Bybee IQSE's in each of my components and also in my DIY power strips. And each line is powered through CPT 1800/300 units.
I mention all of this to put my review (opinion) in perspective.

I have found that the Corelli does change the sound. The soundstage does indeed go back further.
But... at the expense of the realism of the music. With the Corelli the music takes on sort of a fake sound. That is, full rounder music/notes are transformed to a stale sound.
Now perhaps it needs more time to settle? But at this moment I can't see keeping this unit. And, at the price of $2200!  Nice metal box though.

I have read many of the on line glowing reviews and the high praise for the Corelli in this thread and I don't doubt that it works fine in many systems. So, it must be some interaction with the noise reduction devices that I have in my system. I suspect namely the Bybee units.

I will let it play for a few more days before I send it back. My suggestion is to try this unit with your system before sinking $2200.
