Since I leave most on 24/7, it is easy.
(I only touch two boxes, one remote, plus media items)
1) Rotate main volume knob back to a useful range
2) Decide if CDs in changer good to go, or do I want others?
2a) I want others, so I have to
3) pick up CD remote and move tray to #1(I usually use a five disc changer all the time to my DAC, I could use other single disc machines, but this is my usual)
4) put down remote
5) press button on changer to open tray
6) take out disk and put it in container.
6a) 6b) 6c) 6d) doing other four CDs
7) go find others to play
8) open each and wipe CD with silicone treated cloth
9) brush off CD with small brush
10) insert
10a) 10b) 10c) 10d) repeat 7) 8) 9) 10) four more times
11) close drawer
12) press play
13) sit down
For LP playback:
(I touch five boxes, plus media items. no remotes)
1) Move main volume control to useful position.
2) move selector to correct place for LP play
3) turn on phono box
4) after is goes to green, flip off mute
5) take weight off cover of TT
6) take cover off Kuzma Stabi Stogi S TT
7) flip switch on power regulator for TT
8) flip front switch to 33 to start TT rotating
9) Chose an LP
10) slip LP out of cover
10a) lay down cover
11) slip LP out of inner sleeve
11a lay down inner sleeve
12) look at LP: Clean. not clean?
12a Clean proceed.. (not clean is another dozen steps not added.)
13) place LP on TT platter
14) place clamp on LP
15) pick up brush for stylus
15a) use brush on stylus
16) tap brush on sticky tape to remove yuck
17) place stylus brush down
18) click counter to count stylus hours
19) pick up Stylast bottle
20) open Stylast bottle
21) brush stylus with brush from Stylast bottle
22) close Stylast bottle
23) put back Stylast bottle
24) move arm over record start
25) release lift lever
26) hover to watch stylus hit LP
27) Sit down
As for the rest of the ops requests.. well I am not gonna. LOL
