SACD/CD player update

i have invested on analog for a long time. From vinyl to Reel to Reel, VPI turn table to tube preamp. But sometime i looked at my shelf, there are still over hundreds of SACD and red book CD over there. also some Hi-def in my hard drive. I only have an Oppo 105 to play them. I wonder if it worth to invest on a better player. Thinking about Esoteric, but i never do  A-B comparison and don't know how much i can gain. I'd like to hear some advice. Thank you.

I just upgraded to a Esoteric K-05X. It is definately not thin sounding. Full, Robust and detailed. I am sure their more expensive models are even better.
I recently purchased a Marantz SA-10 after using  dealer loan for five days.
It was the first device that really out performed my Sony SCD777ES.
And the use of the digital inputs (Toslink and SPDIF/RCA) on the SA-10 still gave me way better sound than anything I had before.
I plan on using the SA-10 mostly as a DAC playing CDs in a changer day to day.
