power cables' effect on power conditioner?

@lak. What was your experience with the 2Q?

@ptss, I like the 2Q very much and it does a very good job. Talking apples to apples in my opinion it functions better (sounds better) than my 1800, but of course its much better build, extreamly heavy but cost signifently more.

I am planning on running a dedicated 10 Guage steel shielded power cable from my breaker box to feed my niagara 7000.   

This cable claims to deal with harmonics - if I can find some others take 190 feet  since  they only sell 250 reels

I wanted to terminate the run in a 20 amp IEC and plug directly into my power conditioner, bypassing the outlet and another cord.  Aside from code issues , has anyone done this ?

Is it going through the wall? in the wall? Or out and easy to see the whole length? 
If out. perhaps use some cladding that is used to hide wiring? Covering a steel flexable cable with some neat cladding would be a big WAF.If it is inside the wall...    I think if you start with it coming out of a code box at the wall, with an added code allowed fixture to allow the cable to exit the wall intact. Like those metal oblong covered L shaped lozenge seen in commercial installs. 
With a pipe or the cladding for hiding wires from it toward the Niagra.. (maybe painted to be less noticeable?) 
Then right by the Niagra the end of the pipe with a surrounding plastic or rubber plug letting the actual cord stick out to the IEC plug...
I would think it would be a passable looking item.
I run a dual quad set of 12 gauge wires with a pair of ground wrapped in,  Wrapped in blue teflon tape up over the ceiling to the living room and back down...(about 36 feet long)  In my apartment. The folks in charge of the building have never complained. Though they have seen it many times. The one outlet in the kitchen is a 20 amp alone on a circuit breaker. and I wanted to use that.

Any power cord cord will impact the sound of any gear you plugged them into. It’s how they impact the gears power supply and that is an unknown which is why you try before you buy.
