BUYERS, What Issues have you had with Sellers and Listings that Prevent you from Buying?

Some sellers have been complaining about how slow it is. Maybe what you share can help sellers make their listings more enticing.

1) List your item in late September or early October.

2) Use Hi-Fi Shark or sold listings on ebay to determine market price and then go down from 5% to 10%, and more like 25% if there are functional or cosmetic issues. No need to pull a price out of your........hat.

3) Don’t charge for PayPal; it’s against your PayPal agreement anyway and just makes you look like someone who can’t read.

4) Charge fairly for shipping or throw it in. Some folks treat this as a profit center. I wouldn’t even give your ad a second look. If you’re cheating on shipping, then you’re cheating on everything else.
....so to help them, perhaps they should buy a few LPs or CDs from the software section to build up some positive feedback?
Agree that charging 3% on Paypal transaction erodes trust. When I see that I also worry that they will nickel and dime the packing material, boxing, etc.
A fair amount of sellers also won't provide a shipping cost until you commit to buy as they want to make sure that they pass on actual cost to consumer. However, this creates friction as the buyer wants to know what they are paying before they commit.
