Out walking the dogs and saw a
monoblock on the side of the path; looked closer and there was a tear
coming out of its right channel.
“What's the problem?”
“I'm a single monoblock living in a
stereo world. Noone wants to turn me on (apologies, Norah Jones)”
“Well have you thought about losing
some weight? Maybe then you'd be more appealing. What do you weigh –
50, 100 pounds?”
“147 last time papa Pass weighed
me.”
“Well try a diet – maybe play some light classical –
Leroy Anderson or Andrew Loyd Weber. What's your name, btw?”
“Tom...they used to call me Tom.”
