Tom's tend to be swell guys in my experience, though they are known to have issues. Apparently class D is this Tom's issue.
As for efficiency, we are Americans and it's our God given right to consume as much power as is necessary to achieve sonic bliss. If God didn't deem us worthy, He wouldn't have given us vast coal, oil, and uranium reserves. Europeans, on the other hand, well... It took Americans to tame their savage ways.
