Soundsmith always sends his retipped/rebuilt carts back with a tracking force implied.

This is where that whole conversation comes into play that once the cartridge is altered by someone other than the original manufacturer, that the cartridge is no longer that cartridge.  Try to do it by ear.  It should be close to the original spec but sometimes its not.

Aligning and adjusting a phono cartridge solely by ear is "trial and error" and not likely to yield best results. A test record is the best thing to use to determine ideal VTF.

Hit the "sweet spot" at 2.1 grams!
