I can't take Tekton seriously because of stories like this thread began with, and there's no shortage of stories like that. The Focal is a vastly better speaker if you appreciate what it is. It's far better built with better drivers, and you're sure to get the speakers built with consistent parts rather than whatever is floating around the shop at the moment.

My dealer let me listen for several hours, then came to my town and bought me lunch at my favorite bar just to take my deposit. A week later I got a matched pair in rugged cardboard crates I've used again for moving them. And the speakers are flawless, sound great, and come with magnetic grills. That's how buying a premium product from a professional should be.
