I like the cables Mike, but I cringe when a commercial entity inappropriately drops in here.
Kimber Hero vs Morrow Audio vs ? Analog interconnects
So, I have:
-Margules ACRH1.2 integrated amp
http://margules.com/en/acrh-12.php
-B&W DM602 S3 standmounters biwired with Kimber 4TC
-Denon DVD-3910
-Project Debut with Ortofon 2M Red Cartridge
For years I have used Kimber PBJ interconnects, an upgrade? so, Im looking something in the price range of Kimber Hero moreless.
What would be your recomendation?
Kimber Hero (Ilike the brand) Morrow Audio?, other brand? Anticables? to name a few
Unfortunately no loaners here in Mexico City to perform tests.
Thanks!

wolf_garcia" I cringe when a commercial entity inappropriately drops in here." There is nothing improper, inappropriate or incorrect about commercial persons or entities posting ,contributing or responding to this site at all you should check Audiogon's terms of service and in fact some of those who you deem inappropriate are better informed, more knowledgeable and less biased than those who have no commercial interest but are motivated to contribute here based on ego, self-importance and posturing. |
Unlike most audio sites, Audiogon does not ban ’commercial’ posts. In fact often they are welcome and OK. As long as the poster is clear that they are either a dealer, or a manufacturer, no problem. I am of the opin’ that the average audiophile can decide for themselves. usually Audiophiles are not in need of nanny. (the one exception in my mind are the swarm posts of fanboys.. Not a lot of that anymore. not like back in the day of KAB and Technics 12000 pimping. For old timers even that is no problem. Just for new folks, the danger of being swept up in a half dozen fanboy posts...) As of now, there are at least three threads totally devoted to some company/product(s) being repeatedly added to by the fans/promoters. One on DACs which was really hijacked to the products way early, One on some sort of black graphene goo, and the third michael green's thread. |
Sorry, I still cringe even if this sort of thing is allowed, and I’m a fan of Morrow cables. I think forums should be for discussion and free from obvious commercial promotion or it could allow the threads to be permeated with the equivalent of junk mail. Manufacturers should of course be welcome if they’re actually discussing something...like Atmasphere for example who hasn’t noted anything like an "Inventory Reduction Sales Promotion" of his amps as fas as I know, and frequently contributes well regarded comments based on his expertise. I’d certainly welcome Mike Morrow discussing his approach to his cable technology. Apparently this site does have a policy of some sort on this as they took down the initial "Emat" promotion thread as it mentioned the price of the item in the initial hard sell posting. Luckily, commercial posts are rare which is why they stand out as "cringe worthy" for at least some of us, and the fact that some disguise crassly hyperbolic sales promotions as selfless "helping others find better sound" or something remains as bait for gullible "seekers"...fanboy swarm indeed. |
