Kanta line

I've been seeing 1028's going for 948 prices. I wouldn't dismiss the No.2 just based on the woofer size. The 8" woofers are only getting you 2Hz more bass extension. Is that even noticable? Like the 936 and 948, they're just different speakers made for different sized spaces. 

Ok let me clear up some ignorance and misinformation here.
The Electras on amazon are the discounted price.  No dealer will get you a better price.  That's not the new retail, that's the new lowest price anyone can sell, based on the same cost as before.  $5,000 for 1028's is an awesome deal, however these speakers are OLD.  The Kantas are better sounding speakers. More laid back. 

Overture Audio isn't even listing the Electra anymore. It looks like those are close out prices.
