Missing the plastic bag for shipping for my amp...

Well as anyone who knows Pass gear is aware, the amps and preamps usually come with a thick plastic bag. I know this is probably a stupid question but here goes: what can I use as substitute if I lost the original bag?

I am sure Pass will send your equipment back with the correct bag if it is serviced. I agree with the idea of no matter what, cover the item with a plastic wrap of some kind Glad Wrap, garbage bags, grocery shopping bags if they are heavier plastic.
Yes

On the other hand, not having the original box for heavy expensive items? bad, very bad. In that case I WOULD ask the company to sell you a new box.
Yes

Guess it is just me but if you have the original box and foam inserts and the amp is resting in place between the inserts  how is it going to get all scratched up without the plastic bag while in transit.
Go to home depot and get some stretch wrap or any moving supply place will have it. Comes in handy for a lot of things.

It won’t scratch it but probability of scuffing/ marring from the styrofoam constant rubbing on it.
Is it actually possible for styrofoam to permanently mark up the steel chassis of the amp?
