No one actually knows how to lculate what speaker cable they need

I never lost one until this thread.
Good thing they don't bump them for spelling and grammar.

I welded 1000 MCM cable on with Pure Silver welding rod extracted from 3000 yr old coins recovered from the Red Sea.

It was wonderful until it tipped my speakers over and busted the terminals off my amps...

So sorry to hear that. Next time you buy some speakers, keep the speakers and throw away the expanded polystyrene (EPS) packing materials, not the other way around. EPS is too light for your cables. However, I'm sure your thin cables are a perfect match to what you call speakers and tipped over…Could you please share how you got to this amazing combination?
