So many people with no feedback. Scams and just ebay/ craiglist mentality.
To the point that is upsetting.

I would love to see less posters responding to OPs and sometimes others with less than polite words—often with attitude and sometimes condemnation.

On guitar and diy audio forums I use people have more of a sense of community, hobby, and an overall helpful nature. That’s not to say I haven’t received tons of help and useful tips from users here. I just sense the vitriol and lack of friendliness is on the rise.
The old days... When most ads were individuals who mainly wanted other to enjoy their old stuff. Now it is dealers, and folks who flip stuff. (Seriously how can an amateur  have over a hundred sell/buy events? I have been here since $2 ads, and have a TOTAL to this day in all places (including eBay) since late 90's of less than twenty buy and sell.)So the folks flipping.. Well they are not selling at a loss.. All prices are kind of high now. I doubt anything is going to change.
As for polite discussion? ALL audio sites are just like this. AND THEY ALWAYS WERE. There are 'areas' of more cooperation and agreement.(I would say in discussing tubes, and turntables)  But the typical stuff is just the same today as it was in 1998. In fact I would say it has GOTTEN BETTER, in general.. LOL
If it is that bad and a demand truly exists, someone will fill the void.
Oh, US Audio!!
