Marantz SA-10 arriving Monday!

I've been hearing and reading all I can about this player during this last year. I have a 6005 right now and it's a nice player but not as good as my analog rig (10k) so it's not a fair comparison. Elizabeth mentioned that her SA-10 is better than her analog. I will be comparing the 2 SACD players side by side. I have at least 3 CD's in which I have duplicates. I'm fascinated about how the circuitry upsamples to DSD SACD. Well not exactly but somehow an improvement over Redbook CD. I have a 2" thick maple block coming in the same day for it. It's going to be a long weekend. I know it can't work miracles on all CD's. If there is jitter in the recording then supposedly you will never get that out. Speak up if I'm wrong about that.

The latest things are powercord related. I recently bought some PS Audio Noise Harvesters, played with those to get them set best. As often mentioned, Five is the best. Lower noise floor. Then this week all week I have been buying Pangea AC14XL powercords. They are on sale and my big balk at buying was the strange pricing. (not linear) Well the sale prices make the different length prices linear, SO from 20% to 33% off. I bought nine. One main reason for going for them is the claim of solid copper blades. When I got rid of the brass in the duplex with Furutech, jump in sound quality. And they do seem better than the Pangea AC14SE I had.
I am still 100% using the SA-10 as a DAC, and my cheap from eBay $40 five disc changer as the spinner. (even the Five disc spinner sounds better with the Pangea AC14XL (I cut the captive and soldered an IEC next to the back! A little Teflon tape to keep it from zapping me.)
