Which cost more: your system or your car?

Just curious.

BTW - I'm pretty sure that my system slots between my CTS and my wife's Cayenne.

Rhljazz and Tobuns, it's a bit deceiving to compare the initial purchase price of your BMW cars to the purchase price of your audio components.

As an owner, and past owner, of four BMW autos, I know very well the cost of repair and service for the brand.

If you've each owned your cars for 40 and 9 years respectively, then it's only fair to add in the cost of servicing, repairs, parts and tires over the term of ownership, yes?

Of course, now you'll both tell me you do your own repairs and servicing, and that you pick your own parts at the local wrecking yard for pennies on the dollar.

the one meter IC between DAC and pre cost more than my car. MY cartridge cost more than my car. Why? Who can afford a nice car when he's hooked on high end audio? I'm not an heiress, after all.
System, music, and car each cost me about the same. System by far is holding value best.
2007 Lexus GS350 with Mark Levinson system inside. My mobile system was more expensive than any of my indoors sytems.
