Are audiophile speakers turn on for single women?

I recently purchased a pair of speakers that I showed to a non-audiophile female friend of mine. She said they looked beautiful and asked how much they cost. When I told her, her jaw dropped. She then asked if I was using them to pick up hot chicks. Hmm...I told her the only people who get turned on by my audiophile speakers are balding middle-aged men. She had a laugh, but I wondered if anyone tried to impress a girl with his stereo system. High end is a male dominated hobby like sports cars. So have you found a woman who was turned on by your system. I have had no such look. I just get blank stares when I talk about my hobby to women.

I have had different shapes and colors, the Avantgarde Uno in green metallic seemed to create a lot of attention, the women would stop talking in mid sentence at first sight and walk around the speaker and monoblocks, like a cat examining a foregin object. What a laugh. It was the same thing with all women, young and old. I thought my wife would hate them, she loved them. She was sorry to see those speakers go.
i don't think it will matter much ... best case ... "those look nice" it's like a great car .. they know it's expensive but could care less how it handles .. Well in most cases .. I'm not trying to generalize............. Although I think i might just have!
Not only do most if not all women not like audio equipment or the steep prices of our "good stuff", they are really appalled when they see the massive jumble of wires behind the equipment that I'm too lazy to organize. LOL
