Replaced Mid-RangeBest way to Burn-IN ???

Had to replace the left mid-range driver on one of my front speakers.What would be the best way to burn this driver in as the sound does not match the right front.

Should I just run the left speakers only.They can be bi-wired so I am thinking of removing the jumpers on the terminals and just playing the mid and nothing to the top end.Oh they are 2 way speakers.Or should I run both speakers ,left and right?

I plan on putting at least 100 hours on it before doing any real listening.

It doesn't sound bad it's just a tad noticeable that the one with the new mid is a little brighter.I know I should of replaced both but money is a factor.Any thoughts and help welcome.

If it is a tad bright, put a hankerchief or some small bit of cloth over the new driver, to muffle the driver just a bit. If you play with the screens on, just lay a cloth under the screen at the new driver. Figure out some non-damaging way to keep it in place for a few weeks. (A very small magnet to hold the cloth between the magnet and speaker basket?)i would think that could be enough to get past the difference.
Even taking the old speaker baffle off and leaving the new one on might help.
If later after a hundred hours, you still notice a difference, you could try a permanent solution of a small half ohm resistor in the new speaker?

Also replaced the inductors with new ones as the old ones where damaged.I know I should of got 2 new drivers but as I said ...funds are lacking.Do inductors also require break in?

You say they sound good. Just play and enjoy them. The driver will break in all by its self and all will be well. The inductors will have some breakin but not as much as the driver
If you listen to Elizabethyou are to caught up in the sound of equipment. Just relax and listen to the music. This hobby of ours does not have to be as complicated as most people want to make it.

Is it normal when you replace a mid-range for that speaker to sound a little louder than the other due to it being a new driver?
When running a test tone using a slp meter there is no difference in volume.
