has anyone tried ultrabit platinum on their cds

absolute sound this month raves about the ultrabit platinum fluid application onto cds. Has anyone tried this? I find it hard to believe that if your cd lens is clean and your cds are not scratched that this would have an impact other than subjectively wanting to hear it for the $75 this product costs.

Works fab but be careful spraying over hard floors- it's slippery

Be careful it only works in combination with a tourmaline hair dryer ;-) just kidding.

Sounds like a $5 product being repackaged for $$$.
Any polishing/slippery stuff will do. Of course, spending $75 when $5 will do is priceless. (I use Meguiers ScratchX a tube lasts for YEARS)
Sort of like the $100 jar of rocks is just way better than the free rocks and an empty peanut butter jar...
And the $50 dot is better than that penny...
They may be better... but then some folks have less money to burn than others. (ME)
