the best CD player between 6'000 - 10'000 $ ?

While I agree a component's circuit design affects its sound more than the tube type, I also know designs based on the 6H30 tube that I have heard all sound essentially alike, which is clean, clear and lacking coloration. IMO, it's very difficult to tweak the sound of 6H30 gear by tube rolling.

On the other hand, it's quite easy to tweak the sound of a component that utilizes 6922 tubes.

White, clear, clean and colorless is great for lab gear...not for music.

I did not get Isabella/Isabellina DAC preamp based on Srajan's review but way before that...........[if you would have read the review (beginning) carefully and bother to check my preamp upgrade path , you would have known that already].
There wasn't one instance when I bought any gear based on any review or published recommendation.

thirth: I am very familiar with BAT and while it is not a bad CDP , it is FAR from what you compare it to - "The Walker Proscenium Gold"

Those two shouldn't be in the same sentence IMO.
