Anyone know what's the proper way to change the vacuum tube on the VPI 16.5? It looks pretty fragile so I don't want to cause any damage on to the assmbly. The manual was very brief and not detailed enough for step by step direction.
It's simply a friction fit. Just pull it out firmly, jigglingly as needed to pull it loose. It is not fragile. Easiest to do if you pull out the tower the tube is mounted in so you can get a firm grip. .
