Deep Cleaning Records With Steam?


It has happened again. Major tweak and record provider has available a steam cleaner made especially for records. Anybody try steam for cleaning lp’s? What were your results? Since a unit can be had for about $20 at Target, 15% of what the tweak provider is charging, is it worth a try?.

However, you persist in reminding us of your "ownership" of the concept of steam cleaning records nearly every time a question is asked and a member other than yourself responds with a suggestion.

I would suggest if you want to make some money with the concept, then create a unique machine or accessory that steam cleans a record, and bring it to market. Can it be difficult to add a steamer arm to a VPI record cleaning machine?
