Isolation and Monster Power conditioner

I've never met a power conditioner that advanced the system...changed-yes, but not bettered it. For those who think their power conditioners are the Kat's Pajamas, now that you're used to the sound, remove it and listen again. I'll probably see it advertised on Audiogon soon.

If no Pcondit, how do you protect your gear?

The question was, "will footers under the Monster Power make a difference".

I was picking up fan noise from my UPS at extremely high volume levels listening to low music passages and isolated the UPS by getting it off the floor.

I agree, as the previosu poster said, there is NO difference in sound, however, where I live we are subject to peaks and dips in the mains power. I use the UPS strictly to even out the line voltage. A good old SOLA 1500KVA computer UPS.
