A lot of many sorts of manufacturers are no longer carrying parts for thier products.
Call it lean production, or call it the bad economy.
Even Sony for YEARS did not keep nearly enough laser parts for it's CD players.
Same for Audio Research.
Even Bryston had to stop making the CD player it had due to not being able to get any mors supplies of the laser, and they HAD to keep enough in stock so they could honor the warranty.
They had to start a new design.
So it is a much larger problem than just one or two manufacturers.
