Anybody tried 20th Anniversary Purist cables?

Purist uses lamp cord. Period and puts a nice dress on it. A fool os born every day, Purist lamp cord in desiner dress

Just got these cables. Not yet broken in but pretty incredible on first listens. An XLR to RCA interconnect and speaker cables. Amazing stuff.

Brave claim Mapleleafs3. Do you have any material evidence to corroborate the lamp-chord nature of Purist wires?

This review of Purist Audio cable contains diagrams and technical info about their construction. It doesn't appear to be lamp cord, as the conductors are mixes of copper, silver and gold.

Thank you Grant, I rest my case. yet mapleLeafs3 was a 'good' theory, in that it lended itself to being proved true or false. As such, even if one doubted the veracity of the PF specs, one could presumably waste some perfectly good money and take a Purist wire apart to verify that the wires are made from utility grade lamp chord. Mapleleaf3, want to give it a try?
