how do cable variables contribute to cable sound

As noted Tvad, that was my point to Mrtennis here - that this would seem to be one of the threads where there could actually be some value to contributions from cable guys, giving their experience, but hopefully not more "shameless plugs".

BTW, "opinion and semi-informed opinion" also comes from "cable professionals" in my experience, as actual measurements and scientific data are painfully thin in this area of the hobby, but that thread has been rehased ad nauseam.

Yes, Mt T. I have made millions by promoting Robert and his wonderful
interconnects, power cords and speaker cables. My home is clad in Ridge
Street Audio speaker cable, my walls are covered with Ridge Street
Audio interconnects, and my yard is full of Ridge Street Audio Quacking
Ducks. My family has a Life Annuity courtesy of the kickbacks I have
received from Robert.

Same for Purist Audio, Shunyata, DCCA, Elrod, VH Audio, Nirvana,
Empirical Audio...and any other cable manufacturer who would like to
participate in the discussion. Each day I eagerly wait as the moving van
