The easiest to use are the Monster X-terminators. They cost $29. a pair new, and will last forever. I have some 'old style' (with a screw inset instead of a thumbscrew) and have used them in different ways for over 20 years and STILL use them. (I own twelve of these babies) They lock into the binding post, create a solid connection, the spade is locked into the X-terminator with a set screw and will not come loose accidentally, and they are 'eternally' reusable.
