Amazing Album Sides
There are amazing album sides that rock and swing from the first song through the last. The albums they come from are usually outstanding, but one side seems to get played over and over.
I'm going to start with a somewhat obscure and less obvious choice...Talking Heads' "Remain In Light" Side 1: "Born Under Punches (The Heat Goes On)", "Crosseyed and Painless", "The Great Curve".

Pat Travers - Crash and Burn, side one. One of the best sides in my rock collection. Excellent recording - kudos to the engineers. I posted this days ago and quoted another post I made about it. There's a piece of trivia I wanted to share. They censored it - what a joke. Here's the link: censored? By the way, side 2 truly crash and burns. |
Tvad - great thread! One that I actually will monitor. Oneprof - I can't believe I forgot Queen's "Side Black" and their "Sheer Heart Attack" side. Especially since it meets my uniqueness demand. (Like Kate). Rbischoff - Another great side with Traffic's "John Barleycorn Must Die". Jaybo - Good call with "Thin Lizzy's "Jailbreak" I listen to everything but it's great to see some rocker's here on the Gon! |
